Big Data Engineer - Spark/Scala/Hadoop - Contract - E-commerce - Belgium
A very exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known Retail client in Antwerp.
You will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance and testing using Hadoop Spark and Scala. This will include analysing large data sets on a daily basis so creativity and enthusiasm to work with the above tech stack will be essential.
Essential Skills required are; Hadoop Spark and Scala/Strong foundation in Java
Any experience with HBase and NoSQL would be an advantage - but not essential
Minimum 2 years Hadoop/Spark/Scala experience is required for this role.
Initial 6 month contract with likely 6 month extension.
Interviews for this role will be arranged WC 19/12/2016
