My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Big Data Engineer to join their them within an exciting project based in Belgium. The Big Data Engineer will have extensive experience working with Scala, Spark, and Kafka. Dutch speaking is a major plus but not essential.
Key Responsibilities/duties (what will the candidate be doing):
. Collecting, Analysing and storing data sets
. Guiding Strategic Decision-making process
. Coaching and Knowledge sharing with other team members
. Project Manage, the scope of the project. ie time and budget
Key skills required:
. Big Data Experience
. Experience with Scala, Spark, and Kafka
. Working in an Agile environment
. Fluent Dutch (written and oral) is a major plus but not essential
Location: Belgium
Duration: 3 months (extensions likely)
Rate: Negotiable
