Big Data Engineer

Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced BIG DATA ENGINEER to join one of our international clients for a position in AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS of 12 MONTHS with option of extension.

THE TASK

Templeton
- Being able to come up with columnar storage solutions
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources;
- Hands-on development experience, preferably in a Scrum/Agile setting.
- Being able to take on the role as a trainer/coach of the whole team.
- You have the ability to consult and advise a team on best tool selection, best practices, and optimal processes

OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR YOU TO HAVE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS IN:

- Having 2 years of Big Data Engineering Experience
- Being able to work in the Hadoop Ecosystem.
- Hands On experience with Apache Spark
- Hands on Experience with Apache Kafka
- Hands on Experience with Apache Hbase or MongoDB

PREFERRED SKILLS BY OUR CLIENT:

- Experience with SPARK STREAMING
- Experience with SCALA
- Experience with SPOTFIRE
