Big Data Engineer

Data Engineer I am currently seeking a Data Engineer for a rapidly growing big data consultancy. There are working with well known clients such as Hortonworks, cloudera and HSBC in the big data space and work with some of the largest financial organisations in the world. They are offering the opportunity to work on a project and be fully involved in the end to end implementation of the project. These are live projects with budgets already in place. The client is looking for an immediate start for the right candidate. Ideally you have the following experience; - 2 years + Hadoop experience - Horton works certified - Strong understanding of technologies including spark, hive and map produce. This is a contract length of 3 months based out in France or/either Germany. Dependent on where your skills would be most valuable. There is a strong possibility of extension up to 6 months.
