ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE - BIG DATA, DATA ANALYTICS, PROJECT MANAGER

JOB TITLE: Project Manager - Big Data, Data Analytics

LOCATION: Kent

DURATION: 6 month rolling

RATE: Negotiable

PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

A Project Manager within TIS will be responsible for executing Technology infrastructure projects supporting internal business and business aligned technology stakeholders.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Project Manager for IT technology infrastructure projects end-to-end'.
- Manage teams of technical specialists from various TIS disciplines to flesh out requirements and deliver technical design, procurement and implementation of solutions.
-Establishing project timelines, action plans, risk management and change control procedures, and monitoring progress against agreed timelines
- Stakeholder Management and communication planning.
- Produce & maintain key project processes, sharepoint site and associated artifacts including project plans, budgets, weekly status reports, project meeting minutes etc.
- Ensure that solutions proposed by technical teams are in line with our standards, scalable and within budgets.
- Maintain good working relationship with TIS teams, technology delivery and business customers.
- Manage any 3rd part vendors appropoariate to assigned projects.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience (5 years+) in IT project management. (preferably including another financial services company).
- Proven experience in the delivery of Big Data & Data Analytics projects is required for this role.
- Proven experience in the delivery of Infrastructure projects
- Track record of successful project delivery
- Experience with managing budgets
- Delivery and results focused, with the ability to build and manage client relationships.
- Ability to report to steering committees comprised of senior executives
- Demonstrable experience in managing internal and external technology partners
- Breadth of knowledge across the infrastructure technology stack
- Ability to deal with challenging business stakeholders, swiftly take away issues and resolve
- Ability to analyse complex problems in a structured manor whilst under pressure
- Desire to build effective working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Flexible and approachable team-worker
- Ability to work at other Fidelity sites in the UK
- Degree level qualification or equivalent (preferable)
- PRINCE2 or PMP certification (preferable)
