Stott and May are working closely with a leading financial services client who are looking for an established Big Data architect for a contract that will last at least 6 months. The Big Data Architect will be leading various projects with a hands on attitude, there will be some client facing requirements.

The Big Data Architect will be focusing on the designing of analytics solutions from the current big data stack, they will be responsible for creating in depth architecture documents and developing roadmaps for the business to adhere to. The Big Data Architect will be expected to advise on future data projects in order to obtain buy in from the business to support the growth in this space.

Key responsibilities:

- Hands on experience in Big data
- Python/Java
- Delivery of data analytics within guidelines
- Hadoop
- Databases SQL, NoSQL
- Experience in designing structure and unstructured data
