Marlin Green is currently searching for a Big Data Application Architect for a contract assignment in Belgium. The purpose of the role is:
- Drives the (big) data governance and informational tools selections together with the BI Application Architect.
- Owns and is accountable for the strategic direction of how the data in a data lake context are used and developed for future capability.
- Work closely with regional Digital Data scientists, business development managers, members of business divisions, BI application architect and IT.
- Providing project management capabilities to help implement new big data projects
Experience:
- 5 years of data analytics and/or IT experience
- Experience of data management in a data lake context.
- Familiar with Data modelling, BI concepts and platforms, descriptive and predictive analytical modelling, languages and tools (SAP, R, Python, SAS).
- Familiar with big data problems and able to proactively manage the development of a big data tool and communication to different stakeholders
