A senior Big Data Analytics Developer is needed to join a growing company. The company has enjoyed a lot of growth this year and are looking to continue to add to their innovative team.
The successful Senior Developer will be joining a company who really invest in their software and see the analytics systems on site as being a key part of their future growth - you will need have a proven track record in working on a range of Big Data/Analytics projects and have excellent communications skills being able to integrate well with other technical and non technical staff.
Skills needed:
- Working with the latest Big Data Technology in the marketplace
- Able to work as part of an existing team of Data Scientists
- Expanding platforms to improve existing systems
- Designing/Implementing algorithms in a procedural or functional language, or appropriate software package
- Great Understanding of Unix and Scripting language to incorporate software components into production pipelines
- Extensive knowledge within databases and SQL
- Understanding of Hadoop systems would be a desirable
