Our client is an international and successful technology organisation. They are currently engaged in a number of UK focused bids and are in need of a Bids & Proposals Manager on an interim basis - initially 3 months, covering for a permanent vacancy.

The position exists to manage the production of accurate, timely and winning bids/proposals. Specifically:

- Ensuring critical deadlines are hit
- Supporting the Business Development team for meetings
- Collaborating with the Procurement department to identify and assess potential partners
- Woring with Engineering & Customer Services to generate ideas and USPs to deliver winning bids
- Planning and prioritising resources for bid preparation, negotiation and project delivery
- Producing reports as required
- Collation of customer feedback
- Management of the Bids & Proposals budget
- Management of a small team
- Building effective relationships at all levels within the organisation

We are looking for someone with similar experience ie Bid/Proposal Management, people management and experience of working with both internal and external customers. Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) are essential, as are strong organisational skills, relationship building skills and an ability to work effectively under pressure

Experience of a Systems Engineering environment is advantageous as is contract management experience.
