Bidding Services Lead

Executes bidding activities primarily on the capital procurement space for purchases over $100M. Prepares bidding documents based on input from engineering and procurement. Initiates and manages Prebid meetings with suppliers and plants. Issues bids to qualified suppliers. Prepares and communicates bid results to engineering and prepares all required bid forms. Assist with logging productivity into VOLT and prepares basic reports. Prepares appropriate contract documents. Obtains and analyzes Dunn & Bradstreet credit information on all bidders. Facilitate payment term extensions and manage supplier communications (with NA Lead).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure bidding is performed per procurement policy
2. Gather business requirements from both procurement and engineering or other function to prepare and execute RFP
3. Prepare bid analysis and communicate results in a timely fashion
4. Compile metrics on bid turnaround time and bid yield
5. Assist with additional administrative duties as required

SKILLS

- Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing or related field)
- Excel (Intermediate) and Word
- Nice to have Ariba Sourcing for Bidding
- Nice to have Dun and Bradstreet
- Nice to have Emptoris
