FAST PACED TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS SEEKS ENTHUSIASTIC, INNOVATIVE AND FLEXIBLE SELF-STARTER TO JOIN OUR GROWING SALES TEAM WORKING WITH OUR RANGE OF WORLD CLASS PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS WHICH SUPPORT THE BUSINESS OF EDUCATION, LEARNING AND TRAINING.

The Bid Executive is responsible for providing a bid/tender writing and support service to the business by:

- Working alongside colleagues to ensure that bids are completed to a high standard within required time-frames
- Taking ownership of bid production, including writing sections as required, and managing the quality assurance process
- Supporting virtual bid teams, including technical and commercial specialists

Our Sales and Business Development Team is responsible for direct sales of products and services from our Technology business. Working closely with colleagues across the business, the Sales team is responsible for maximising sales, meeting defined sales targets and developing Tribal's reputation as the partner of choice for software and technology related products and services.

Within the Sales team the Bid team is responsible for providing appropriate bid support to the product sales teams and takes ownership of the bid process as appropriate. This role is for approximately 12 months to cover maternity leave.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Owning the delivery of bid and tender submissions, coordinating input from colleagues including domain leads, technical solution leads, finance, HR and legal keeping abreast of major changes in the technology market to ensure that business activity is relevant
- Meeting individual objectives and contributing to company targets
- Adhering to the sales and bid governance procedures

THE PERSON

Ideally educated to degree standard, you will be enthusiastic, ready to learn and have bags of initiative. In addition to being a natural communicator, you will have excellent organisation and time management skills. Familiarity with bidding for software or technology based solutions would be highly advantageous as would experience in a competitive tendering environment. Knowledge of bid governance, authoring, editing, quality assurance and compliance with formal processes would be highly valued. However, if you are a flexible and hard-working individual able to proof-read documents and confidently correct where necessary, we would be interested in seeing your CV.
