Bid Manager who's primarily responsible for managing the construction and delivery of winning large value proposals/tenders.

These include, architecture, pricing, as well as delivery and technical leadership.

The Bid Manager must be able to co-ordinate efforts across all these areas of the organisation to achieve the desired outcomes. They must demonstrate people and technical leadership skills, as well as an ability to engage and grow relationships with business partners and customers.

The Bid Manager is expected to be an expert in the sales process, persuasive writing and presentation, as well as project management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Produce a high percentage of Winning bids.
- Be responsible for developing and managing the bid budget, including determining all bid costs are capture and reported.
- Ensure pricing includes the correct inputs and is competitive.
- Work with Sales team to ensure the customer's needs are understood by the bid response team
- Facilitating the development of competitive bids that meet the client requirements
- Manage the Bid Qualification process in order to determine the viability of the proposal
- Ensuring the other sales processes are followed and the bid milestones are achieved in a timely manner
- Develop, maintain and report on progress of the bid response project plan
- Ensuring all required resources and stakeholders are engaged in a timely manner
- High quality proposals and tender responses are delivered
- Work with partner organisations to use and protect their IP.
- Cultivating a positive and expert working environment
- Displays a high commitment to continuous improvement.
