Bid Manager - Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH with FRENCH and/or DUTCH
Skills and experience:
- Master or Bachelor degree in trade, marketing, or information technology
- 3 till 5 years relevant business experience in ICT Sales Support or customer service team
- Minimum 5 years' experience in IT solutions or IT services company
- Excellent knowledge of computer applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), ERP
- ITIL and Prince2 certifications have undoubtedly an added value
- Knowledge of the IT outsourcing marketplace - eg infrastructure Outsourcing, Cloud computing
- Previous Bid Management experience in an IT outsourcing environment
- Proven experience in the application of project management techniques such as Prince2, very good knowledge and understanding of the different ITIL-processes and associated delivery models
- Good time management skills and high degree of self-sufficiency
- Ability and flexibility to work and deliver against customer deadlines
- Ability to engage and work with virtual teams remotely
- Capacity to work in changing teams and able to guide the dedicated team in working in budget and in time
- Service and result minded, commercially and customer oriented and proactive
- You are precise and analytical, and have a strong sense of synthesis
- You have excellent personal communication skills
Description of work:
- Manage the process of the bid production, in close collaboration with the sales force and delivery and the legal department
- Tracking and monitoring assigned bid activities
- Compliance with internal governance bid processes
- Management and tracking of all clarifications
- Deliver the bid on time, on budget with the adequate level of quality
- Negotiation of contracts with clients in collaboration with account managers and the legal department
- Analyze and improve actual processes and adapt them according changing requirements
