BID MANAGER - AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH and DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 3 years experience as Bid Manager in similar Outsourcing contracts
- Knowledge and experience in:
- Bid Management & Pre-Sales process
- IT Managed Services and Outsourcing
- Project Management
- Proficiency with Microsoft package

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Coordinate the change request proposal response
- Participate in internal assessment meetings when new requests arrive
- Participate in intake meetings and scope discussions with customer's SCCT and product manager's teams
- Prepare and manage the response package in collaboration with stakeholders
- Validate if requirements are clear and sufficient to prepare proposal and pricing and if an extra intake is required
- Validate if the change request complexity and the type of request (WOR, POR, SCR, CCR) is correct
- Validate the proposal risk level
- Manage and lead proposal presentation meetings in front of the customer, story boarding, and commercial argumentation together with Architect and Change Lead
- Support Contract Manager in coordinating contractual change requests
- Support Change Lead by providing management information and reporting related to the Change Office
- End to end management of the Change Office Flow including but not limited to status updates, registrations, information distribution, closing
- Analyse and articulate bid-specific customer demands and align the bid strategy with the sales and overall strategy of the company to the bid team
- Identify and organise resources required for a specific bid
- Coordinate, lead and motivate resources assigned to the bid to produce successful proposals
- Manage the bid project including development of the bid budget, a formal bid plan with the sponsoring executive, control of costs, quality and time
- Manage all proposal deliverables and authoring activities according to the project timelines
- Coordinate the identification and assessment of delivery and contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage the commercial process to deliver a viable proposal
- Responsible for corporate approvals process for the bid and ensure full compliance with company processes
- Manage formal post contract handover to Demand Management
