In the context of managing Proposal Changes within the SWING Contract, the Bid Manager Change Office is primarily responsible for the following tasks/activities:
- Coordinate the change request proposal response;
- Ensure and track proper governance milestones are followed;
- Participate to the internal assessment meetings when new requests arrive;
- Participate in intake meetings and scope discussions with customer's SCCT and product manager's teams;
- Prepare and manage the response package in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Validate if requirements are clear and sufficient to prepare proposal
- Validate if the change request complexity is correct;
- Validate if the type of request is correct (WOR,POR,SCR,CCR);
- Validate the proposal Risk level;
- Lead proposal presentation meetings in front of the customer, storyboarding, and commercial argumentation together with Architect and Change Lead;
- Support the Contract Manager in coordinating contractual change requests;
- Support Change Lead by providing management information and reporting related to the Change Office.
- Responsible for the end to end management of the Change Office Flow including but not limited to status updates, registrations, information distribution, closing, etc.;
- In general the Bid manager leads the creation of winning proposals for engagements that are aligned with our strategy and Customer expectations, and result in profitable business.
- Analyses and articulates to the bid team the bid-specific Customer demands and aligns the bid strategy with the sales strategy and overall our strategy;
- Identifies and organises resources required for a specific bid. Identifies and manages the relationship with key stakeholders and decision makers;
- Coordinates, leads and motivates resources assigned to the bid to produce successful proposals;
- Manages the bid project including development of the bid budget, a formal bid plan with the sponsoring executive, control of costs, quality and time.
- Manages all proposal deliverables and authoring activities according to the project timelines;
- Manages the organization of storyboard sessions. Ensures that the final document has a consistent message and standard;
- Coordinates the identification and assessment of delivery and contractual risks and develops mitigation strategies.
- Manages the commercial process to deliver a viable proposal. Is responsible for the corporate approvals process for the bid and ensures full compliance with company processes;
- Manages the formal post contract handover to Demand Management;
- Applies consistently company Engagement Management methodologies.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as Bid Manager in similar Outsourcing contracts
