Bid Manager required to work for my client, a global IT services company, based at the end customer site in Hampshire.

*Active DV clearance is a MUST HAVE for this role*

Responsibilities:

- Develop plans and schedules for the multi-faceted elements of the opportunity Bid process, working with costing personnel, solution development (technical and business) personnel, commercial personnel and sales professionals to manage the Bid life cycle through to submission of proposal to client.
- Plan and undertake status review meetings among Bid team members to ensure Bid timelines are met.
- Facilitate Peer, Delivery and Governance reviews.
- Manage the budget allocated to each Request For Change.
- Prepare proposal documentation including WBS and project plan.
- Contribute to requirements, risk/issue schedules and change control.
- Liaise closely with Bid Team members and the other team Leads in order to determine their full requirements.

Essential Experience/Skills:

- 5+ years in project management or alike roles.
- Project/Programme management principles, tools, techniques and methodologies
- Principals of metrics and interpreting results
- Knowledge of financials and budgets
- Effective communication skills
- Team Player
