Overview:
Our telecommunications client is looking for a Bid Manager who understands the needs and strategic objectives of their customers. The Bid Manager must have a strong IT background, or experience of working on IT focussed projects.
Duties:
*Manage the bidding process, including technical presales and convince the buyer to use your solutions.
*Work closely with the Sales team to efficiently manage projects through the sales process.
*Maintain focus on the quality of the product or solution you are selling, reporting back with any concerns or feedback.
*Work with other departments (Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Operations) to answer any questions the Customer might have.
*Provide forecasts and expense analysis for each project.
*Ensure each project is completed within agreed timescales.
*Maintain timely and accurate communication throughout the project life cycle.
*Must possess a thorough knowledge of all relevant Company products and solutions.
*Involvement in training on products.
Skills and Experience:
*IT Background with training in Engineering or Computing.
*Strong IT technical knowledge, ideally in the telecommunications industry (not essential).
*Relevant experience in a technical-commercial position.
*Ideally B2B (Business-to-Business) experience.
*Analytical and methodical approach to management.
*Dutch language is a must (English is desired).
