An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid and Commercial Manager to join a market-leading telecommunications company based in West London. This is a contract role and is extremely urgent, the client are looking for people to start immediately.

As the Bid and Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for, providing active management and leadership of multi-discipline teams throughout the bid and contract negotiation phases to ensure requirements of customer, business strategy, targets and risk management are properly incorporated and addressed.

Some of the key responsibilities will be:
* Representing the Commercial Management function as process owner and ensure requirements of the Sales Instruction are met.
* Driving the bid process to increase win rate, improve commercial terms and proactive risk mitigation. Development and continued improvement of the bid process and tools.
* Providing expert guidance on proposal and commercial matters. Tracking customer proposals and learning from them.
* Participating in SDP calls.
* Developing and execute Bid Plan.
* Defining and agreeing the Bid Budget with the ACR for presentation at SDP1. Managing time allocated and any external costs against budget report and clarify any variances.
* Working with the ACR to define and agree bid and commercial strategy.
* Arranging and facilitating discussions in the KIA, solution, risk and pricing workshops as required.
* Setting up proposal document structure, allocating and managing input required from the bid team. Taking ownership of proposal document build and production, including delegation of documentation compilation and editing (internal or external) as required for large bids.
* Responsible for the completion, printing, binding and delivery as required of the final customer deliverables

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
* Strong project management skills.
* A strong background in Commercial contract management.
* Strong understanding of business cases.
* Extensive working knowledge of Customer engagement and sales support.
* A good understanding of Commercial risk analysis and management.
* The ability to work with, motivate and laterally lead multi-discipline teams on a project basis across a Matrix organisation.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
