BI - Test Analyst
One of the leading banks in the Netherlands is looking for BI Test Analyst. It is a highly challenging and dynamic environment, which requires adaptability and a drive for continuous improvement.
Job objective
The Test Analyst is an independent critical thinking part of one or more multi-disciplinary project teams who likes to work in a software development environment. The Test Analyst is empirical and informs the project team about his/her observations of the system under test. The Test Analyst collaborates with the project team to automate tests where feasible. Test preparation, test execution, progress reporting and communication about testing activities with the project team are part of the Test Analyst's tasks.
Scope
Your primary working area is the testing of applications against expectations in a single functional domain. You test software by investigating and questioning the product in order to evaluate it with a solid understanding of business, systems and requirements. Projects can take place in a cross-departmental environment. Because the project team uses agile practices the Test Analyst works closely together with the business and project team members to come up with a product risk analysis, to develop a test approach and to investigate the application and the application's risk profile.
Job requirements
*Agile Mindset.
*Experience with UI testing of web applications and reporting software (Tableau).
*Experience as a test Professional in complex environments and large projects.
*Tool knowledge of Team Foundation Server, SpecFlow and Microsoft Test Manager.
*Experience UI Test Automation and BDD.
*Experience with Agile and Scrum.
*Expert knowledge of SQL and DB queries.
*Experience with DWH/BI and DataVault.
*Experience with chain testing in a very dynamic and technical environment.
*Minimally seven years experience in Testing.
*Minimally three years experience in Banking.
*Bachelor or Master degree in ICT or Economics and/or able to demonstrate a clear affinity with ICT and an interest in wholesale banking.
