BI Technical Lead
BI reporting lead required manage an off-shore development team for a global end user firm based in New Jersey, long term contract, excellent rates.
Duties:
*Develop new solutions using technologies such as; SSIS, ETL, SSAS, SSRS, deploy the solutions to SQL Server 2008 and 2010
*Lead the team in developing reports through reporting services (SSRS)
*Influence and review requirements as well as functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation
*Work in collaboration with different business users and SME's
*Analyse, translate and develop business requirements
*Work in conjunction with different teams (development and testing), establish the delivery timelines and the testing requirements
*Work with the vendors to understand product changes and enhancements
Skills Required:
*5+ years' experience providing BI solutions (in an architect/tech lead role)
*Proven hands on experience with SQL and MS SQL Server (2008 SSIS/ETL)
*Extensive SQL query development skills
*Demonstrable experience in systems analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Proven experience working within a fast paced multi-disciplinary team
*Knowledge of and experience with ad-hoc reporting
*Extensive knowledge of multi-tiered architecture
*Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
*Experience liaising between different teams in a global environment is a plus
*Proven experience working with stakeholders, leading interviews, running requirement workshops and UAT
*Extensive knowledge of the full product life cycle
*Experience with resource management and HPQC is a plus as well as experience developing software in an agile development environment
