BI Solution Architect - Dashboard (French and English Speaker)

Requirements

- Gathering within data-intensive projects, for reports and dashboards
- Supporting reporting and dashboards workshops with business users
- Defining system testing scenarios and cases
- Detailed understanding of Datamodelling
- Understanding of MDM architecture
- Understanding of reports and dashboards tools
- SAP (BO/BI, Lumira, Design Studio, EP/Netweaver) and Microstrategy BI reporting experience
- High-level understanding of Data Governance best practices
- High level understanding of operational and support process definition
- Proven ability to successfully define the technological scope of a project
- Proven leadership in a culturally diverse environment SAP BW/Hana knowledge (preferably on BI 7.4 version) is a plus
- BW Dataflow: Business content, modelling, transformation & routines, DTP, process chain, LO Cockpit, extraction mechanisms, optimization, transport management, partitioning/clustering, PI/XI & web services BI-IP (Integrated Planning) & Webdynpro Data flows from sources through user interface
- Fluent and French and English
- Available to travel regularly within France

Main Duties

- Support the development and maintenance of a BI architecture strategy, in line with the Dashboard project, combining industry best practice and strategic direction of the organization
- Analyze functional requirements for reporting and dashboards
- Draft the solution in agile/iterative manner together with the key-user
- Ensure non-functional requirements are detailed and approved
- Design the final solution and lead its development, until its industrialization
- Ensure close and trusting relationships with other IT teams (BI Competency Centre and IT Operations)
- Lead Reporting/BI platform technical content, from data sources through data storage/warehousing, to user interfacing tools (BI4.1, Webi, Lumira, Microstrategy)
- Design technical solutions keeping overall consistency
- Guaranty overall solution consistency within a SAP BW/Hana solution
- Support the integration activities for data migration, interfaces and data warehouse
- Promote (develop) best practices implementation
- Facilitate platform industrialization initiatives and actions plan
- Support continuous development of the BI Competency Center
- Support Back Office and competency center team building on the Dashboard/BI domain in an international context
- Coordinate internal and external resources when required
- Share BI expertise with other team members to facilitate knowledge transfer and support the establishment of training plan(s) as required
- Deliverables BI strategy and architecture roadmap with regard to report and dashboard requirements
- Preliminary solution architecture, integrating each successive report and dashboard re
