My large reputable Insurance Client in Londonis looking for a Senior Sql Server Developer for a 12 month Contract to join their office, paying up to £400 per day.

Key Skills and experiences

Must Have:

* Extensive proven practical experience developing within SQL Server (2005-2012) toolset using SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.
* Kimball dimensional modelling experience.
* Proven track record of delivering a Data Warehouse full development life cycle from ETL to report development.
* Expert T-SQL skills for complex stored procedures
* Strong SQL server query performance tuning
* Expert knowledge of ETL techniques
* Experienced with data cleansing and data enrichment methods
* Successful implementation of at least 3 business critical BI solutions.
* Lead developer in at least 2 business critical BI solutions.
* Hands-on exposure to at least one industry-recognised development methodology, exposure to Agile is desirable.
* Hands-on experience in producing unit and system test plans and scripts.
* Experience in producing functional and technical design specifications.
* High level of communication and questioning skills with the ability to identify business requirements and extract the necessary information to achieve successful results.

Nice to Have:

* Experience of developing .NET applications and Web Services.
* Exposure with Oracle (PL/SQL)
