BI Senior Solution Analyst/Developer

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

BI SENIOR SOLUTION ANALYST

to create, implement and support our client's BI solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

RUN - BI SUPPORT AND SERVICES

- Support the business to understand the available BI products
- Understand possible discrepancies highlighted by the business and explain it when it's possible
- Analyse the assigned incidents and propose corrections/BI enhancements
- Develop patch to fix the incidents

DELIVERY - SOLUTION ANALYST

- Define the logical modelling
- Transform the logical to physical model rationalisation
- Support the business requirements analysis
- Rationalize the multiple data quality rules to a single logical model
- Identify the use of abstract principles and determining the overall modelling approach to be used
- Provide the functional and technical specification to the developer

BI DEVELOPER (ETL SPECIALIST)

- Understand the data structure and meaning in both source and target BI systems
- Identify and Assess data sources
- Create source/target mappings
- Apply business rules as transformations
- Design and develop the solution following the best practices
- Perform the unit test and the regression test
- Work with production data to monitor and report on data conditions and quality

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Experience in Business Intelligence
- Specialized in Data Warehouse proven in DEVELOPMENT AND DIMENSIONAL MODELLING.
- CERTIFIED DATA VAULT MODELLING
- Expertise in ETL DEVELOPMENT
- Experience in PLSQL
- Developed skills on BI FRONT END BUSINESS OBJECT
- Strong knowledge of KIMBALL'S METHODOLOGY
- Knowledge of CRM data mart creation and campaign management
- Knowledge of Data quality and cleansing technics
- SAP knowledge would be an asset
- Fluent in English, French would be an advantage

This is a contract position with an international client until the end of 2015 in the first instance.

The client is located on Lake Geneva, in Lausanne.
