BI OPERATION AND SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are looking for a BI Operation and support specialist

For this contract position based in Lausanne in Switzerland our client is looking for a English and French speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Within the Business Intelligence Department, you will ensure the run of all the BI services, monitoring the application, supporting the business and ensuring the 2nd and third level of support

Tasks description:

OPERATION MANAGER

- Own the production
- Monitor up/down, and analyse the trends high-level
- Log incidents

INCIDENT MANAGER

- Manage incident creation
- Ensure the incident creation
- Follow up/Escalation
- Close the incident

BI SUPPORT AND SERVICES

- Support the business to understand the available BI products
- Analyze the assigned incidents
- Propose corrections
- Develop patch to fix the incidents
- Propose BI enhancements

DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

- The database administrator (DBA) monitors the physical data that the project is adding to the existing BI environment. The DBA works closely with the metadata manager to evaluate how the BI is being altered and ensures efficient performance of the BI environment
- Design, implement, and tune database schemas
- Manage storage space and memory

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE IN DATA WAREHOUSING
- VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE IN ETL DEVELOPMENT
- EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
- SPECIALIZED IN PLSQL
- EXPERIENCE IN ORACLE DATA INTEGRATOR (ODI)
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH IS AN ASSET
