BI Manager - Edinburgh - 35-44k

One of Edinburgh's largest and well-established organisations are looking to completely overhaul their existing business intelligence function. They are looking for an experienced manager who has a strong history of developing MI/BI functions from small or underperforming teams into integral value-add business functions. Although some hands-on technical experience is needed, you must be able to work to a managerial level, attending UK Board meetings, performance management, recruitment and retention of developers, attending customer meetings, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of: - BI Architecture (ideally with Business Objects, but other "tier 1" packages considered such as Qlikview, Microsoft BI etc) - Managing strategic improvement plans; business change programmes - Senior stakeholder management - Working or reporting within different business functions (e.g. Finance, IT, Sales) - Strong leadership skills, mentoring in addition to a generous benefits package including excellent contributory pension, performance related bonus & private health care.
