Bi-Lingual Test Automation Analyst QTP/UFT, Banking, Paris

Background:
The client is an international bank based in Brussels. To train and support the Test team in the use of HP QUICK TEST PRO (QTP)/Unified Functional Testing (UFT). BOTH English and French language skills are required.

TASKS:

Initiate and maintain the automated QTP/UFT test suite of test scripts;
Develop scripts as a series of automated parameterised transactions, calling on a common object repository;
Execution of automated testing and capture of new scripts identified from key business processes and regression test scripts including any validation checks where required;
Validate and demonstrate the developed scripts, to the technical experts involved, in order to achieve a sign off, before being added to the automated test suite
Review of new Business Processes provided to ensure they are at the correct level to allow automation to proceed;
Identify and investigate test failures;
Produce estimates for time and effort required to script each process;
Raise and distribute the necessary paperwork associated with faults found;
Liaise with members of other departments in the preparation and execution of tests;
Occasionally perform manual testing;
Carry out reviews of scripts to ensure suitability, completeness and accuracy of test specifications
Produce sufficient documentation relating to the preparation and running of test specifications for future reference;
Maintain up to date knowledge of the business, technical environment, testing tools and techniques;
Adhere to and maintain standards;
Report progress to the Test Lead.
Liaison also required with the client's Tooling Department

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in HP Quick Test Pro (QTP) or UFT 11.5;
development with VBScript (minimum 2 years experience).
Quality Center. (currently QC 11.5. Planned QC-ALM).
Experience of automation using a framework. Able to enrich a framework and to create framework Guidelines.
Language: You must have BOTH English and French language skills.

NICE TO HAVE:
Knowledge of Securities/Banking/Back Office.
Certification - ISTQB Technical Test Analyst
Experience of automating in a UNIX, Windows or Citrix based environment.
