BI Integration Manager (SAS, Netezza, SAP BW ) Contract Brussels
The contract is with a Consultancy organisation to be on an assignment at a large pharmaceutical site in Brussels as follows:- The main tasks are:- - Ownership of the SAS, Netezza, SAP BW on Hana platforms
- Coordinates and manages BI Technology projects, leads the technical platform implementations and manages the vendors involved
- Provides a complete understanding of reporting, analytics solutions including Datamodelling and ETL
- Managing interests and expectations of various business and IT stakeholders
- Able to shape and defend business cases for the initiatives he will drive.
- Responsible for the life cycle of the platforms owned as well as defining the roadamap to make evolve such platforms
- Explores how new/emerging technology may support the client Reporting roadmap
Understands the interfaces between the different systems, maintains oversight of client systems linked with the Reporting services
Requirements
- 9+ years successful analytics solution experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or technical field required.
- A previous experience in a similar role within an outsourcing model is highly desired
- Experience in SAS, Netezza, SAP BW on Hana technologies
- Strong Data Modeling and ETL Skills
- Logical Data Modeling experience is a plus
- Experience with Big Data and In-memory technologies
- Strong Knowledge of BI governance concepts
- BI Dashboard design, development and report development experience with multiple tools and data sources
- Strong knowledge of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices.
- Business and technical competency in analytics solutions
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively shape technical solutions.
- Energetic, Enthusiastic and Positive attitude. Customer focused, Solution Oriented.
- Ability to drive success in all phases of a BI initiative from analysis, design through implementation and support
- Strong project management skills
- Ability and experience with analytical software solutions, designing, developing and delivering
- Excellent written communication skills
