BI Infrastructure Engineer

The Client  has been working on the set up of BI environment to support their BI project applications. The environment will consist of different components and applications. The engineer will be part of the BI team and liaise directly with the infrastructure teams.

The engineer will function as the communication point between the BI project team and the infrastructure and operation departments.
- Create the technical design documentation
- Coordinate implementation and test
- Perform handover and support/after care for operations.
- Excellent communication skills, can work independently, can manage their own tasks and time and deliver within agreed   timelines, willing to work outside office hours, flexible, stress resistant, teamplayer, result-oriented
- General infrastructure/hardware knowledge
- Experience in management as well as delivery of storage solutions (preferred Netapp) and experience with both physical and virtual infrastructure
- Proven know how on RH Linux, proven Know how in Linux implementations
- Proven know how on Windows, proven know how in Windows implementations
- Pre: experience with networking technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint)
- Pre: experience with database systems

Based in Hoofddorp, the contract start date is ASAP initially until the end of the year
