BI Infrastructure Engineer

BI infrastructure Engineer required for 4 month contract in Hoofdorp starting 1st September.

Our Client has been working on the setup of BI environment to support their BI project applications.

The environment will consist of different components and applications. The engineer will be part of the BI team and liaise directly with the infrasture teams.

The engineer will function as the communication point between the BI project team and the infrasture and operation departments, Create the technical design documention, (coordinate) implementation and test, Perform handover and support operations.

Required Skills 
Excellent communication skills, can work independently, can manage their own tasks and time and deliver within agreed timelines, willing to work outside office hours, flexible, stress resistant, teamplayer, result-oriented

General infrastructure/hardware knowledge

Experience in management as well as delivery of storage solutions (preferred Netapp) and experience with both physical and virtual infrastructure

Proven know how on RH linux, proven Know how in Linux implementations, Proven know how on Windows, proven Know how in Windows implementations,

Pre: experience with networking technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint)
Pre: experience with database systems" Key deliverabled. Communication point between Project and infrasturucture Create technical design documentation Co ordinate implementation Handover and perform aftercare.

English Speaking required. Dutch is preferred.
