BI Information Analyst

We are currently searching for a Business Intelligence Information Analyst in Utrecht, THE Netherlands. This is for a international end client of us! This is a contract position for about 6 months with the possibility to extend!

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you will provided services in the areas of consultancy, requirements analysis and functional process and system design for the data integration and data warehousing applications in the organization.

You will define requirements, based on requirements and wishes of internal and external customers, in a structured manner. You have a leading role in organizing workshops for aligning requirements. You will translate all requirements, in alignment with Architect and Information Analyst colleagues, in functional designs which are converted by software engineers in technical design and application systems. You will prepare budget estimations of the assignments and performs quality inspections.

In this position you will also have a lot of contact with customers, clients and colleagues about the desired functionalities and solutions in a multinational context.

Concretely this means the following activities:

- Support business development activities;
- Support other centers on their questions related to billing, management information, data integration and/or data conversion;
- Align, analyze, assort, describe
- Analyze source systems and data mappings;
- Analyze the required changes and describes the required business and information administration of the domain and create the logical data models accordingly;
- Draught and calculation of functional designs of changes and new developments on Data warehouse or data-integration/data-conversion applications;
- Realization of (ad hoc) information analysis;
- Co-responsible for the system documentation;
- Realization and maintenance of the system documentation;
- Support the realization of functional test plans;
- Quality control on products delivered by other team members.

YOUR PROFILE

- Bach/Master degree (background in Business Information Systems)
- Min. 5 years recent experience with Information Analysis and Functional Design
- Relevant experience with Requirements Engineering;
- Relevant demonstrable experience on Business Intelligence, logical Datamodelling, data integration and data warehouses;
- Relevant experience with Cards Acquiring business;
- Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written;
- Experience with development methodologies like SCRUM;
- Experience with working in a project management (Prince2) environment;
- Willing to travel abroad;
- Strong affinity with complex environments and be able to work result driven and service minded;
- Pay attention to details without losing overview, being punctual, quality oriented and able to work in a team (in and outside of the department/center) as well as autonomous;
- Good communication and listening skills and the ability to convince people;
- Work attitude is proactive and focused on cooperation;
- Used to take ownership for the end result and clearly show this in work and attitude;
- An IREB certificate is an advantage;
- Knowledge of and experience with PowerCenter on Oracle as well as with Data Vault modelling is preferable.
