BI Functional Analyst Finance and Compliance

Functional analyst shall perform underlying activities launched in the context of ongoing risk projects impacting the existing BI application for risk:

- Be the linking pin between Business Engineering Teams and the Development Team;
- Understand business requirements and build a functional analysis which covers needs of the business according to our BI reference architecture;
- Collaborate with the development team (Technical application manager and external supplier)
- Set up test strategy;
- Perform IT Acceptance tests;
- Support the Business during the UAT phase.

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor/Master in Informatics/Engineer/Commercial Engineer

LANGUAGES:

- English + French OR Dutch

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience Sound expertise in making functional analysis for BI environments (> 3 years of experience in BI environments)
- Knowledge of BI systems
- Expertise in BI Data Modeling techniques (eg Kimball)
- Experience in Data Modeling tools (eg Power Designer)
- Knowledge of functioning of ETL tool and DBMS Systems (Oracle/Sybase)
- Experience in a large IT environment
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in a large IT environment
- BI Systems in a Financial institution
- Powercenter ETL
- Mainframe Knowledge
- Experience in the domain finance within a banking environment
