BI/ETL - Test Analyst

A global organisation are seeking to hire a Test Analyst with experience of ETL/Data warehouse Testing on a contract Capacity.

Location: Villeurbanne (France)
Length of contract: 4 months initial (2 year project - plenty of scope to extend)
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Process:Telephone interviews.
Rate: Negotiable.

Minimum Requirements:
*3 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance.
*2 year relevant work experience in Data Warehousing/BI, ETL Testing.
*Knowledge of Software testing processes and automated tools, with an ability to apply BI testing methods and techniques in a DW/BI environment.
*BI Reports Testing
*Run manual performance testing, functional regression testing,
*Good testing skills
*A challenging and enquiring mind
*Attention to detail and tenacity
*Understanding of common BI application failures and faults
*Experience in a variety of testing efforts (desirable)
*Experience with HP ALM (desirable).

To demonstrate Extensive experience in the BI Application Testing competency. Should demonstrate knowledge of and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development.
Designs BI application tests to ensure adherence to functional and quality requirements.
Judges key issues and considerations for testing BI web-based applications.
Creates test scenarios that ensure all error handling processes perform as expected.
Perform Functional, Usability, Regression testing based on customer requirements.
Participate in problem resolution whichincludes tracking, logging the problem, and fix verification
