BI Engineer Job

Yoh has a Contract Opportunity for a BI (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE) ENGINEER to join our Client in St. Louis, Missouri.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Five (5+) years experience with data in business Back Office systems
- Five (5+) years experience with data integration tools, advanced SQL
- Experience supporting Legacy reporting environments

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assist with daily monitoring of Legacy data warehouse systems
- Support business users of Legacy data warehouse reports
- Maintain existing reports in Legacy data warehouse systems
- Acquire familiarity with both first and second-generation EDW systems
- Represent BI team on selected IT special projects
- Assist in the prescreening, assessment, and prioritization of new reporting requests and enhancements
- Assist with managing the BI Backlog and communication lines between the Reporting team,
- Data Integration team, and customer.
- Proactively work Tier 2 and Tier 3 support tickets which may require occasional after-hours availability

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5+) years of experience with data in business Back Office systems (sales force, quoting, orders, billing, collections, finance, help desk)
- Excellent process and priority management skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Preferred experience with developing and deploying big data solutions
- Four years of college degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or technical/analytical equivalent

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five (5+) years of experience with data integration tools, advanced SQL and dimensional data modelling (SQL Server 2008R2 is a plus)
- Three (3+)years of experience with report creation (Oracle Hyperion Interactive Reporting is a plus, Oracle Business Intelligence is a plus)
