BI Engineer (Brussel)

Je functie: We need someone who knows what "Manage a Production environment" means with background knowledge of Linux, Oracle DB, BOXI and BODS.

MAIN TASKS :

The BI application engineer is responsible for installation of application in UAT/PRD environments. The applications are functional BI applications where the technology is SAP Business Objects, DataServices, Windows, Linux and Oracle, SQL Server databases. He also manages and maintains BO Data Services and BOXI.
Apart from the installation, maintenance of the applications, resolution of problems, incident management, analysis of issues, performance tuning and giving support to the development team when needed. The role also involves documentation of the process, best practices etc.
Working in an operational environment means that the application engineer is flexible and stress resistant with continuous improvement in mind.
Je profiel: TECHNICAL SKILLS :

* Must have's :

- SAP Business Objects Data Services 3.x and 4.x
- SAP Business Objects XI 3.X and BO XI 4
- Linux
- Oracle databases (Oracle RDBMS)

* Nice to have's :

- Shell scripting
- SQL & PL/SQL tuning
