BI & DW Developer

This organisation is making strides in the Dublin market and due to an upturn in workload is seeking a BI/DW Developer. The DW & BI Technical Developer is expected to spend at least 70% of the time in a hands-on development role in addition to supporting a wide footprint of existing BI Applications

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare documentation for requirements, report, interface and design specifications in support of Business needs.
Actively participate in ETL, Data Warehouse Modeling, OLAP and Dashboard design, documentation of processes supported by the team, and BI solution delivery
Participate in or lead the analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and support of BI technology solutions for business processes
Provides recommendations to improve system functionality and processes within the BI environment.
Assist or lead in the definition of BI solutions to functional problems, conforming to established system architecture standards and practices.

Required skills:

5+ Years BI experience with proven record.
5 + Years BI Development Tools experience
Development & Project Methodologies
Oracle & Microsoft Database Experience

Desirable:

Project Management Experience
Web technologies - HTML, Javascript, WSDL
Oracle Fusion Middleware
Service Oriented Architecture, Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, J2EE, BAM, SOAP
