BI Development Services

An excellent opportunity is now available for a BI Development Services consultant for an initial 3 month contract located at Liverpool!

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design document for BI Reports
- Develop and unit test BI Reports for the following:
- Convert the 7 Actuate reports to Oracle BI
- Around 13 reports generated using Oracle Reports
- Around 20 reports generated using SQL and Shell Scripts.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and fix any defects identified as a result
- Support UAT and performance testing and fix any defects identified as a result
- Perform code migrations from development to test and any other environments as directed by the Project Manager
- Document the migration plan, strategy and steps for migration of BI Report to Production environment.
- Knowledge transfer of developed reports to BAU and support resources

REQUIREMENTS:

Systems: Oracle BI Publisher

Computer Skills:

- Oracle BI Publisher development experience with version 10.1.x or above
- Familiarity of BI Publisher conversion assistant for Oracle Reports and Actuate.
- Siebel integration experience and expertise in using Siebel tools to deploy BI Publisher ACRs and SIFs.
- Configure local development environment/IDE for BI
- Review and tune development environment server configuration for BI
- Ensure look and feel of all reports matches current reports
