BI Developer

OBJECTIVE OF THE FUNCTION

As a BI Developer you will be part of the Data & Analytics team which is responsible for the successful delivery of data and information to the organisation, both within the context of projects as within the context of optimization activities. The changing energy market enforces us to rethink our BI landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work in close collaboration with the BI analyst
- Work out functional (ad hoc) and technical design
- Develop and test new functionalities
- Correct defects and release new functionalities according to the release procedures
- Document existing and new components and reports
- Application monitoring in order to detect issues
- Incidents handling according to the incident process
- Standard change handling according to the standard change process
- Support continuous improvement effort by identifying technology and process improvements

- Degree of higher education, preferably Master degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
- Proven experience with Microsoft BI (SSAS; SSIS; SSRS) è 2 year minimum
- Proven experience regarding data warehousing and ETL è 2 year minimum
- Experience with Dimensional Modeling and MDX is a plus
