We are looking to find a responsible and open minded candidate who adds value to our client's IT team. Our client is an international Swiss Bank.

OUR DEPARTMENT:

The BI&S (Business Information & Systems) Applications team serves the Private Banking unit of our client with DWH services, Business Intelligence Solutions and Sales and Monitoring tools for the Private Banking salesforce (around 6000 Relationship Manager's). The team provides IT services as maintenance, enhancement and development for BI&S applications in terms of standard reporting, BI services on Management level as well as bespoken transactional based applications such as MySTT and FoF.

SHORT PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The BI2 application is a key strategic project providing Standard Reporting and Self Service BI capabilities to the business. Standard Reporting includes Client Reporting, Product Reporting and Performance Reporting. Self Service BI provides a framework and environment of tools and capabilities for business users to develop adhoc solutions according to demand from end users including regulatory and compliance departments. Microsoft BI tools are used extensively in the project with Oracle used as the primary database.

MySTT is a price calculation application which manages and controls STTs (Special Tariff Terms, or discretionary pricing discounts).

LMS, Lead Management system is a CRM extension which uses public data and predictable analysis methods to search and identify leads with high potential.

Flow of Funds, FoF is PB's BI and alerting system to monitor and control global fund streams. It uses extensively descriptive analysis methods.

YOU OFFER

We are looking for a Senior BI-developer with profound Microsoft BI (SSRS MDX) experiences

- Excellent experience in Microsoft BI technologies especially in SSRS and MDX development.
- Practical experience of performance tuning and optimization is also very important.
- Command of conceptual Database Modelling (RDB's) as well as knowledge of MS OLAP technology
- Practical knowledge of Scripting SQL queries and development of stored procedures
- Experience working with large, complex cubes with hierarchical data is a plus
- Oracle experience is beneficial
- NET C# is also very beneficial. Oracle experience is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent in English, German considered a plus.
- Ability to be able to work concurrently on a number of different topics and to be able to change focus quickly as needed
- A self-starter who can proactively engage with peers and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

KEY TASKS...

The business logic is complex and the developer must be familiar with working with large non-transactional data warehouses and managing complex multi-dimensional structures. Your Key tasks are primarily:

- Develop SSRS, MDX based reports using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) as a data source
- Tune and Improve performance both load time and query time of SSRS reports
- On regular basis interact and collaborate with team members in Zurich and Wroclaw
- Provide day-2-day technical support to peers and third level production team
- Participate on regular stand ups and all other agile/scrum based processes where required
