BI DEVELOPER
A leading financial institution is looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to join their IT BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE team. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing and delivering data warehouse and Business Intelligence projects on an enterprise basis. They will have the ability to work as part of a team while also being self-directed and proactive. They must have strong verbal and written communications skills for dealing with both IT and business stakeholders. This candidate will deliver quality technical solutions to the business within a well-defined scope and closely adhering to a project management framework. They must be able to effectively handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. A key aspect of the role will be to evaluate and offer potential solutions to business problems while also having the ability to focus user requirements into manageable project deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Supporting projects and assisting the organisation to take advantage of its data resources within a defined project management framework.
Changing existing warehouse and data mart models or developing new models to support new or expanded data content.
Performing detailed source-system analysis, source-to-target data analysis and transformation analysis.
Assisting in defining end-user business and reporting requirements based on input from users.
Being involved in the day to day operation and support of the data warehouse.
TECHNICAL:
The successful candidate will have 4+ years experience of SQL, along with the following:
Full project development life cycle experience.
Demonstrated experience in relation and/or multidimensional modelling techniques.
