LOCATION: BRUSSELS
DURATION: 6 MONTHS +
START DATE: 15.02.14
KEY SKILLS:
- Has several years of proven experience with Microsoft BI (SSAS, SSIS and SSRS)
- Knowledge of DWH architecture and ETL
- Experience with Dimensional Modelling and MDX
- Is eager to gain knowledge about the business processes
- Communicates efficiently and in a clear way
- Has a strong focus on quality
- Has a strong customer focus, team-player and can work independently
- Fluent Dutch and English
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The BI Developer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of projects and non-standard changes, both within the context of new projects as within the context of minor changes. Another objective will be the maintenance of the DWH environment.
TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishing design documents
- Developing of new functionality
- Testing of new functionality, provide test support to end users, correct defects
- Releasing new functionality according to the release planning and our release procedures
- Providing the necessary documentation
- Application monitoring in order to detect issues
- Incidents handling according to the incident process
- Standard change handling according to the standard change process
- Keep the operational documentation up to date
