BI Developer

BI Developer required immediately for contract with a Cork based Multinational

Reporting to the BI Development Manager, the successful candidate will be a key team member responsible for the full SDLC of web based tools and reporting solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, process driven and innovative multinational environment.

The Job:

* Analyse business requirements, understand business processes, and implement automated solutions
* Participate in developing BI solutions for the data warehouse globally
* Conduct integration and unit testing
* Perform ad hoc queries
* Provide end user training
* Develop ETL scripts
* Develop advanced web apps

Have You:

* Knowledge of PHP and MVC framework technology
* MySQL query optimisation and tuning
* Experience working with very large data sets
* Shell Scripting
* Experience of JavaScript, DHTM, JQuery, Ajax and Jscript libraries
* Exposure to data warehouse design patterns (inc OLAP), ETL and ORM technology
* Experience with SAS and Business Objects

This is a contract position with excellent daily rate on offer for the successful candidate. Initial 12 month contract on offer with opportunity to extend
