BI Developer

Develop and support the OpenVMS system, developing mainly from high level specifications in a variety of languages and OpenVMS technologies. The right BI developer will have a strong understanding of Business Intelligence Reporting. Technical Skills: Strong experience in the following OpenVMS technologies: COBOL ACMS DCL You will also need to have a strong understanding of the Oracle Database and tools such as Oracle CODASYL DBMS, ORACLE RDB, CMS/MMS. The ideal candidate will have experience using one or all of the below technologies: C#, OpenVMS PASCAL, XML, ASP (classic), TCP/IP or QlikView. The right BI developer will have a good understanding of how OpenVMS applications are developed and deployed. You will need to think beyond code compilation and have a structured a disciplined approach to application development and support with strong analytical skills. You will be familiar with the Software Development life cycle and be an excellent communicator. An understanding of how legacy systems are integrated into newer technologies will be a distinct advantage.
