BI Designer - Teradata/Cognos/ETL

I am currently recruiting for a BI Designer - Teradata/Cognos/ETL for a leading Retail Bank. I have outlined the role details below.

Role: BI Designer - Teradata/Cognos/ETL
Rate: Up to £450p/d
Location: Canary Wharf
Contract Length: 1 month initially with a view to extend

Strategic Data Analysis & Solutions Development

*Analysis, design, build, test and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions/infrastructure to time, cost and quality standards
*Identify, own and manage risks and issues through to resolution. Implement solutions to prevent repetition of known issues/risks and share knowledge of lessons learned
*Create and implement a robust test framework to ensure successful implementation of developments or new applications
*Source, design, build, test and deploy new data feeds to enhance existing/new data marts

Stakeholder Engagement for the BI Designer - Teradata/Cognos/ETL role:

*Understand and manage internal/external customer expectations, at all levels, developing and maintaining excellent relationships throughout.
*Identify and prioritise business requests in line with the Information Unit business strategy and delivery Roadmap
*Deliver effective technical/Support/customer/team communications throughout development/warranty/maintenance cycles.

Team Management/Team work

Provide confident advice and support on the development of Business Intelligence solutions to the wider Information Business Unit team.
*Own, track, and manage, development and performance

Key Performance Indicators for the BI Designer - Teradata/Cognos/ETL:

Quantified cost/risk reduction
Quality, accuracy, and efficiency of development and reporting code applied.
Adherence and advocacy of the banks Values
