BI Designer & Modeler

FOR OUR CLIENT, ONE OF THE BIGGEST COMPANIES IN BELGIUM, WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DESIGNER

* Performs design checks during the development;

* Has profound experience in BI concepts and data models, as well as in depth understanding of the technical impact;

* Understands client requirements and can translate it into a proposed BI solution;

* Strong combination of design skills along with excellent customer communication skills;

* Mitigates application risks by proactively recognizing and communicating challenges, manage changes and providing contingency plans that enable success;

* Assures that engagements are delivered in accordance with the Implementation Methodology to ensure successful execution;

* Aligns solution design with BI architect;

* Continually seeks opportunities to improve the framework and works with architect to design new framework improvements;

* Interacts effectively at all levels of the organization.

SKILLS:

* Dutch with active knowledge of French (or vice versa). Active knowledge of English, certainly written;

* At least 6 years experience in BI application design;

* Knowledge of Oracle, Business Objects and PL/SQL;

* Experience with Datamodelling tools, espec. Powerdesigner;

* Knowledge of the postal and/or logistics sector is a plus;
