BI Depositor Protection/FSCS Manager

BI Depositor Protection/FSCS Manager needed on an initial 3 month contract in Bradford for a large banking corporation.

You will be responsible for the ongoing ownership, maintenance and development of the groups UK's Depositor Protection solutions to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations.

Duties
Analysing data to identify weaknesses in the SCV, understanding impact and potential exposure from regulators, defining requirements and leading design and implementation including data cleansing via DQSS and 3rd parties, to ensure continuing compliance with regulations (and to limit exposure).

Owning the governance, control and ongoing maintenance of the SCV in BAU, including the definition of new controls where required.

Implementing/overseeing all processes and activities required to ensure the ongoing maintenance of the FSCS SCV

Defining, implementing and then ongoing governance, control and maintenance of the Continuity of Access solution and all other Depositor Protection related processes.

Representing CDO Office at senior committee meetings, and representing the company at external meetings with the regulators and external forums and working groups, eg with the BBA and other banks.

Skills
Excellent Stakeholder management skills.
Ability to communicate and influence at senior management level both inside and outside of the organisation.
FSCS/SCV background, with detailed knowledge of the rules and regulations surrounding depositor protection and/or resolution.
Ability to analyse complex regulatory documentation and translate knowledge and experience into clear and persuasive recommendations/action plans.
