A Business Information/Analytics Specialist plays the dual role of Data Architect and Analyst (both business and scientific) in discovering knowledge/Business Intelligence from unstructured and structured data using all statistical and mining techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and lead the Business Analytics, Data Analytics and Data Mining Practice
* Participate in the interrelated data initiatives with the Innovation Lab, own the subsequent design and development solutions and ensure a successful release of the appropriate artefacts within the agreed timescales; new artefacts can include new classes of applications for the enterprise, fit for purpose data visualisations, enriching existing operational data stores, data warehouse and master data/reference data implementations
* Evaluate, select and utilise platforms and tools to help increase the analytic capabilities of TTS Technology and subsequently increase the business value of this data
* Leverage existing infrastructure and/or lead the process to obtain new infrastructure
* Communicate all new capabilities to all stakeholders during the appropriate phases of the process; this includes the building and marketing of the business case
* Define and agree an efficient and sustainable governance model and include the enhancement of existing Data Management and TQ! Standards
* Formalise the engagement model between TTS Technology, the Data Innovation office (DIO) and other partner organisations
* Management of artefacts eg documentation, version control, technical support
* Promote an integrated approach to identifying, capturing, evaluating, retrieving, and sharing all of TTS's information assets
* Reactive and proactive forensic analysis of structured and unstructured data
* Data quality assessment, data cleansing and enhancing, complex data transformation, relationship profiling, sampling and extrapolation, segmentation, statistical modelling, segmentation, structured data mining, text mining and analytical matching

Essential
* Experience of delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations with a significant amount of uncertainty.
* Experience of applied research, experimental development and early design activities to validate/invalidate ideas.
* Experience in managing a portfolio of early stage initiatives

Qualifications:

* Candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in management or services consulting or related areas which demonstrate the candidate's ability to think strategically and solve business problems
* Experience in conceptualizing and building new modelling, statistical, analytical and mathematical techniques
* Domain expertise in Banking is a must. Experience of working across multiple domains in a bank from a statistical modelling experience is a mandatory requirement
