BI/Data Analyst - Gaming Job

SENIOR BI/DATA ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Redmond, WA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Developing a deep understanding of new, existing, and potential future consumer behavior
- Develop highly scalable and efficient analytical models
- Own one or more components in creation of the analytics roadmap
- Create the analytics roadmap, owning one or more components
- Use machine learning, data mining, and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions
- Generating insights that inform game designers how their games are performing
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses and model development
- Recommend new architectural designs and enhancements to existing data systems in order to optimize for high speed, low latency reporting and self-service analytics for game producers and designers
- Work directly with individual studios to develop analytical best practices for measurement and design of games

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) plus years of Business Intelligence and analysis experience
- Five (5) plus years working with data warehousing and analytics models strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with hands on experience applying it to big data
- Familiarity with industry standard statistical techniques such as multivariable regression and clustering analysis
- Familiarity with basic data mining and machine learning algorithms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- BA, BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Passion for games and game design strongly preferred
