Square One Resources is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant with the following skills:

Role:

Monitoring the technology platform and developments completed in Tableau
Study and preparation for the establishment of a new data warehouse
Setting up of one or Big Data solutions in response to emerging needs

Key Responsibilities:

Support project teams (IT and business oriented) to monitor the drafting of detailed functional and technical specifications
Support and maintenance of the Tableau installed, monitoring developments and integrations, mapping data used
SQL Flow Monitoring for the provision of information disseminated in Tableau, and creation of data marts maintenance, security management
Study of the current Data Warehouse environment to allow for migration to a Microsoft solution, more in the institution's standards
Study and presentation of a Big Data strategy to respond to the first business needs
Optimizing BI developments to meet high performance requirements (WAN with degraded VSAT connections or ADSL)

Experience:
Expertise in Tableau, both in setup and configuration
SQL Server 2008/2012 +, a very good knowledge of SSAS, SSIS and SSRS would be a definite plus
Successful experience in the operation of a Data Warehouse L3 and the provision of data marts and ODS based on technical needs and business
Implementation of Big Data solutions, on-site or in the cloud
Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 environments
Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office 2013 tools
Microsoft TFS 2013 is a plus that will be appreciated
Knowledge of Casewise, or any other application mapping software, is also a significant
Certified or trained in ITIL or equivalent requirements
Fluent French, good written and oral comprehension of English
