BI Consultant - French OR Dutch Speaking

BI/Business Intelligence/ETL/Oracle/SQL/DB2/FRENCH OR DUTCH

ConSol Partners' client are in urgent need of a BI Consultant for a project in Brussels.

It's for a banking client so ideally some banking experience is ideal.

Start date: ASAP

Length: 3 to 6 month contract with possibility of renewal

Place: Brussels (city center)

Languages: FR or NL in addition to English

CONSOL PARTNERS' CLIENT IS a major player in consulting, technology services and software publishing in Europe, assists its clients in the successful transformation of their business and information systems.

We are currently looking for a BI CONSULTANT to reinforce our BI practice working in Brussels on different projects within the Banking sector.

YOUR MISSION:

As a BI Consultant you are able to:

- Rapidly acquire an in-depth and extensive understanding of the functional scope of existing applications
- Analyze and document the requirements of BI users in a clear and highly structured fashion
- Update (complex) data models
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications
- Prepare and execute functional tests
- Be a key person of contact towards the Business
- Act as a bridge between Business and IT

YOUR PROFILE:

- Bachelor or Master Degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics)
- Min 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role
- Fluent in FR or NL, with a good knowledge of EN
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Dynamic, pragmatic and committed personality
- Ability to work independently
- Customer-driven with a passion for Consultancy

YOUR KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

- You have good knowledge of BI concepts and best practices
- You are familiar with technical aspects of BI: architecture, ETL development, relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL server)
- You have the flexibility to be involved in a project mode, or in a TPAM (third-party application maintenance) mode
