BI Consultant

We are urgently searching for an Bi Consultant for an interesting client of us based in Amsterdam. It is a freelance position for about 6 months with the possibility to extend.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In this role you will develop, implement and support information provisioning. This involves planning, analysis, detailed design, developing/coding, testing and implementation of the components.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Requirement management; Key tasks Translating and building average end-user information requests into ready to use reports. Development in a data warehousing or information provisioning environment.
- Developing and configuration of data warehousing and data marts from
- Data Warehousing Implementation & Maintenance.
- Responsible for maintaining new and current standard on Business Intelligence, Data Mining and Data Ware Housing development methodologies.
- You have to establish life cycle methodology and practices in accordance to project plans. This may include maintaining data (master or core) models, program libraries, technical documentation of the individual (information, software, data(flow) models and/or applications.

YOUR PROFILE

- Bachelor/Master degree
- Min. 5 years experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant
- Experience with data mining, data engineering
- Experience with SAS, R, python (or similar data science tools)
- Experience with BI Reporting tools (for example qlikview/qliksense
- Dutch and English speaking is mandatory
